Well, some people are tops, and some are bottoms. Some of the bottoms can be be a bit passive by nature, and so tend not to acquire actual rare physical media! /jj

Looks like the BBC 1971 show (or part of it) is getting a physical release?

I have a DVD Of this that a friend made me. Excellent sound, beautiful picture, stellar performance!

Maybe they are three really long outtakes?

All short and previously released! Naughty Neil! :unhunh: But I'm considering buying the vinyl boxset. Just thinking about it. Maybe.

    Booo! :shake:

    Even so, I think it's a great price for a 5-disc CD/DVD set with a book.
Especially compared to other releases by some other artists.

Wait! Looks like two of those tracks are actually unreleased. While it sucks to buy a CD with only three short tracks (not to mention the environment issues), the vinyl EP must be a pretty cool thing to have.

Ah, ok. I'm gonna go with the CD set for now. Maybe get the vinyl next year if the price drops.

  14. The Joel Bernstein photo book excites me. He is great photographer, guitar tech and archivist and has been right in there for the past half a century. That alone makes this set worthwhile to me.

The second DVD has me interested, a standalone release of that would be automatic buy for me.

Yeah as much as I love the BBC set I can’t justify $150 for that on LP which is the only reason to pick that set up. Especially since I have like 6 early seventies Neil shows on vinyl now. I’m in for the CD so I can see the movie and read the book. And have a legit mastered version of BBC

Does anyone know if the book in the LP set is the same size as the book in the CD set. In this instance, size does matter

Neil said in a recent Letter to the Editor that the CD set book is smaller than the LP set book.

Just read an interview with Neil where he says that Volume 3 is in the can, and in production. So I’m guessing early in 2023.
