And then you'd be un-pissed when the CD box sells out and you unload it for twice what you paid.

Yeah, I thought about that. Only I've never sold anything online, only bought things. And how many people would want the CD set if a blu ray set was offered?

I picked up a "like new" V1 Blue Ray for $ 455 CDN or about $ 340 US$, last night. Watched another auction end on the weekend for around $ 400.

the regular 'archive 1' CD's are also going that high too.

and the official release series sets (5 - 8 & 8.5 - 12) are even higher. there seems to be a plethora of '1 - 4' though as those go for right around $25 sealed.

The jewel case version of the ORS 1-4 box still appears to be in print, as you can buy it for ~$20 new from Amazon US with an "in stock" date of November 2. I always thought that the ORS 5-8 and 8.5-12 boxes would be reissued in jewel cases after the original card-packaged versions sold out, but maybe that's not the case. Would be a treat to pick up all three box sets for ~$60 in matching packaging.

After seeing a few posts here about the 15% discount I sent an email kindly asking if there was any way I could still apply one if found, and that I couldn't locate anything ever sent to me when first signing up (figured maybe because I'm a monthly subscriber and not a yearly). Never received an email back but today I woke up with a nearly $40 refund from the store. Thanks to everyone here for mentioning it and the people at the Greedy Hand.

I also got the $38 refund. Very cool of them to do that and it makes the cost of the set more reasonable.

Looking forward to another preview track tomorrow. As @IHeartRecordsAz pointed out, it will most likely be Born To Run.

Unfortunately I don’t think we’re getting one this week. All preview tracks are uploaded to the NYA site on Wednesdays for subscribers to listen to first, and it seems like they’re using this week to promote the reissue of ATGR with the Crazy Horse outtake version of “Wonderin’.”

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Lovely version, very different sound from the one on Archives 1.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice on the discount code. Emailed the store to ask could I get the 15 percent refunded and received a reply within a few hours saying they shall put it through. Definitely helps make the price tag a bit more reasonable
