Wow, didn't see THIS coming. They probably recorded an album of new songs together over the weekend.

A bit of a surprise. I would have loved to see more shows with Promise Of The Real, but with some more inspiration and enthusiasm than in 2013 these could be really good shows. Why not record something in the studio as well while we're at it?

Hopefully it's the standard line-up - it's not really Crazy Horse without Billy (kind of like the Rolling Stones without Keith or Ronnie).

Fully understandable if Billy is not there, but changing one member will have a knock-on effect on the whole chemistry of the group. Not necessarily worse, but definitely different.

I don't think he'd start it up again without Billy. Yes, they used Rick Rosas in 2013 but he just filled in on a tour that was already in motion. Reports are that Billy has recovered nicely.

 

So glad this is happening. They are in their 70s now, and I was afraid the last tour would be their final one. Promise of the Real just doesn’t do it for me. I only want to hear Neil on lead guitar.
