Neil Young Launches Online Archives (1st December 2017)

i ended up picking up the cd set just now of archives 1. found one i could get for less than $100 and all discs are mint

 

6 days remain.

 

I'm stocking up in anticipation of the big announcement, just in case.

 

I have an Archive 1 question, Is the book that came with the blu ray the same book as the cd or dvd package?

 

CD box didn't come with the book, only the DVD and blu-ray and it was identical for both.

live at vicar st. is solo NY. it’s on itunes. it’s worth it.

 

maybe its just me, the story is a bit odd. not the best lyrics ever and i would think solo NY would expose the lyrics being a bit weak

 

more to music than just lyrics.

 

you are correct. thats why the music on the album greendale helps cover up the somewhat sketchy nature of the lyrics. neil strumming an acoustic guitar or piano the lyrics will be in full force for all to hear

Are individual discs somewhere for sale lossless? I bought a new set sometime ago from a seller on eBay. All discs are fine but the first disc had glue on it which makes some songs unplayable...

 

Now I know where to ship the peaches.

glue must have been bad then. the person inspected mine thoroughly and sent 2 pics of glue on the very side of the disc which isn't on the playing service and a small spot on one that i can see is outside the playing surface

 

My Archives 1 had glue on a few discs but I was able to get it off and get the discs to rip

 

no and this is the cheapest one i can find anywhere

theres actually a cheaper blu ray on ebay but its missing the final disc which isn't even included on the cd set

Wow! I picked up a copy of Archives 1 new, on CD, for £48 pounds a couple of years ago...(!)

 

Oh yeah D-G-A, D-G-A, D-G-A...E-A-D, E-A-D, E-A-D for 60 minutes. Skillful.
