I appreciate the feedback. I am a NY fan, my favorites are TTN, OTB and Zuma. I certainly open minded and I guess I should swing it since it's OOP. The retailer is offering 15% off as well.

i never bought this due to the price. its never been under 30 pounds in the UK and i should know, i've searched for it at least weekly since it came out. don't think i've seen it for less than 45 since the week after release. really annoying. record indutry eating itself. the drive by truckers can sell a double 180g lp set, mastered for vinyl, for 12 quid, why can't warner bros???

DBT deals with independent labels, whereas WB has that Legacy to feed. :agree:

Do you already have the cd? I checked my original review and found this note, which you might want to be aware of before buying: "*While this review is of the 180 gram vinyl and I heartily recommend it, the cd which I have yet to hear is likely a very good alternative for those looking for a lower-priced alternative, as Bellman mastered it using the same 44.1 kHz/24 bit file used for the vinyl."

I have the Blu-Ray version, and it is awesome!

I don't have a cd player (just in car). Thanks though. That is odd that is was mastered that way but gets such great sound reviews.

Apologies if this has been covered before:

Is the Blu Ray region encoded? Is it playable in the UK?

Was there ever an explanation as to the reversed stereo image on the Blu-Ray/CD? I didn't realise there was a discrepancy until reading this thread.
