I have gone through 3 separate copies of the German analog pressing of Neil Young's "Silver and Gold" on vinyl (Reprise Records), and on all copies side 1 was cut way off center - so bad that it was unlistenable.

I really want to be able to get a good copy of this album on vinyl.

Has anyone else had this problem with this album on vinyl. Are all the current copies currently for sale pressed like this?

I was able to get this album and return it to a local chain that carries vinly in my area. I am hesitant now to order mail order for fear that I will have to go through the hassle of constantly returning copies via mail, etc.

I agree with you the German pressings were really messed up. There is a UK pressing that was done very well, also the vinyl was a lot quieter than the German.
