First woman I ever loved ... as a five year old in 1962 watching Oz for the first time.

Man, Campaigner sounds sweet! Very cool Neil slipping this in amongst all the big holiday season box sets.

So Dylan just put out his mostly acoustic live tunes from back in the day and Neil follows up with this. I've been there since the beginning with both of these guys so a flood of memories are being unleashed. At the same time it saddens me - as Poco sang in "Where Does The Time Go" - to hear those fresh young voices now ravaged by age and smoking because it brings it all right back home to my own life and time. Really makes one stop and think. I'm glad this is finally getting out there to enjoy in great sound quality.

I cannot wait for this to be released! I have a reason to live again!

I do wonder, will Human Highway be the banjo version or the guitar one?

Can someone enlighten me....is Neil a long time fan of Garland? For the casual listener this is a head scratcher title.
(Did enjoy the Fresno live YouTube thing - yikes!)

If this release is the same as 'The Bernstein Tapes' boot then Human Highway should be the banjo version.

This was completed some time ago, and has sat in the vault for a few years (like a number of other completed projects).

Right, but that's not the context of my post which was purely reflective.

Sorry, thought you were trying to imply that Neil copied Bob.

Interesting about the multitracks. Neil's previous post seemed to indicate the whole thing was from the the soundboard cassette tapes.

It's a pity that all these complete mutitracks concerts remain unreleased.

  20. Great, so it has a different cover and a new title, but it's still a.n.other NY acoustic 70s live compilation.

Had it been another complete show with Crazy Horse and acoustic set intact, that would be a different kettle of Judy. As it is I will cheerfully pass.

Actually most of the tracks were mixed from the multitrack tapes.

Album cover will do little to convince casual fans that this is not a boot.

I guess the question is this Campaigner from multis or cassette? I wonder how it will affect the flow to be bouncing around between two sources like that. Interesting they stuck with the bootleg selections rather than opting for the best sources
