Absolutely phenomenal: songwriting (addresses themes of totalitarianism in broad, effective strokes similar to Phideaux), vox, production, and a magnificent sound that would've been at home among the best in the 80s' post-punk landscape. Just sampled the entirety of the LP; how is something like this 'name your own price'? Unfortunately no CD, but this caliber of music renders my allegiance to physical product moot. Thanks @Svetonio , yet another fire sparked off your flint.
A lot of aspects to this great music, and I suppose Art-Rock fits somewhere, but certainly not a primary genre. I love it, wish it were available in vinyl, but that won't stop my lossless purchase. Great reccommendation @Svetonio .
No question about the arty creative aspect here, and really no semblance of '92 musical tendencies here, this is just transcendentally relevant music across all ages. One thread page, two purchases: Spiritualized and The Page.
Yep, strong accents of that stupendous Phideaux trilogy, which is still some of the best Prog seen since the birth of the genre in the late 60s/early 70s. Really like it, as well as the band's name and Orwellian EP title. Will definitely buy after payday!

Art Rock is a pop-pock with a huge artistic (or experimental) approach, while Prog(ressive rock) is a subgenre of 'Rock' with a long tail in the late 60's / early 70's Underground Music scene, predominantly English and European. For example, Supertramp is Art Rock, while Van der Graaf Generator is Progressive rock.
