DCC Archive New CCR Box Set

Has the new Creedence box been released yet? my understanding it was supposed to be out last week. Anyone seen or heard it yet? Just wondering if there's any sonic improvement over last years remasters.

Don't waste your money! Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing touches Steves versions on DCC.

 

I think they use the same K2 remasters. If not, it's by the same mastering engineer. I personally prefer Steve's work on these. On the one hand, things like the cymbals on the DCC discs sound a bit dull compared to the K2 remasters, but on the other hand, Fogerty's vocals are much more natural on Steve's (crank it up and you'll notice how they don't sound nasty and shrill like the K2's would at the same volume).

Remember, the first disc of the box set does have those rarities unavailable anywhere else. It's nothing close to their best work, but if you're a diehard fan, you'll probably want it.
