Just one more on Dallas Goldtooth from Reservation Dogs Ep 1. This has become my favorite scene in a series or movie.
Snowed in for the weekend up here in New England. Re-watched the series. It really is fantastic, enjoyed it even more the second time around. Gary Farmer is incredible, and hilarious. Such rich characters, and well-written. Great soundtrack, it turned me on to a couple of artists I never heard of. Jim Ford, for one. Looking forward to Season 2.
Was shocked when I heard Jim Ford on this great show. Talk about a sickeningly underrated artist. One of the best he was, IMO.
Any idea who's playing bass on it? Can't seem to find any credits besides Jim Keltner and James Burton
Hey thanks for that! It's great to find out these players and how they inter-cross and connect with other players... I've heard his name in Kristofferson's "If You Don't Like Hank Williams" a hundred times. Now I've connected more dots, thanks to you and this great show!
Yeah McGee was quite something. Wrecking Crew member I believe. Died on stage. A good buddy to James Burton which is how I believe he hooked up with Ford.
I'm looking forward to it. If the trailer is any indication, it looks like Wes Studi will have a larger role.
Gonna finish The Bear tonite, episode 8 (episode 7, holy f#@k!!). Then diving into Season 2 of my favorite show from the past year, Rez Dogs! Been waiting for this!
Watched the first two episodes of the new season Wed. night. Can’t remember when I laughed out loud so much. So glad it’s back.
