Yes I see the border and the transition is smooth as silk. My pointer stays a pointer throughout it all and I can freeze it on the border without the tag appearing. On links in my email and eBay it goes smoothly to the hand as soon as it touches even the very outside borders of links. I'm running IE 6.

Sounds good. So now you know what I meant by "accurate pixel-by-pixel control".

Any "wake up" issues like boead referred to?

No, as soon as I move it, it's active. I have mine set on medium speed as I found that it most accurately represented my wired mouse speed.

One thing that bothered me was that my first Logitech mouse was too small, since I have long fingers. This optical mouse is larger, and almost comfortable...I'd still like it to be a bit larger.

But yes, in graphics, work, I'm able to crop or select rectangular boundaries right down to the pixel level. And the movement is every bit as smooth as my wired mice ever were. This one is actually the fifth wireless I've bought--my first one still works, but the tab for the top cover broke off. :( One went with my ex to her place, and the other two are on two spare computers in the house here; those are both Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combinations, which I picked up for $29.99 each at a local computer show.
