That's them. They're not in their original tins, but that price is great for all 7 titles.

That is nice. You can pay just about that for the Mickey in Living Color alone.
Unfortunately for me the only one I don't' have and want is Silly Symphonies, but hopefully this box may lower the prices of the individual releases.

I doubt it because the individual releases came in numbered tins and the box set doesn't.

It's a very good deal. Sadly for me the only one I would like is the MM in Living Color. I have the other tins...

Great. Disney releases numbered tins, so that people buy them because of their "exclusivity", and then releases the discs on a cheaper format. I've been scammed.

OTOH, it's a GREAT chance to own those DVD's. Kidos to the Disney corporation for re-releasing what might as well be some of the most beloved DVD's in my collection.

    Am I schizophrenic? :D

For anyone who's interested there's another batch of these Disney Treasures titles that are coming out. They were supposed to be released on December 16th, but according to Amazon they've been pushed back to May 2004.

    These are the new titles:

Mickey Mouse In Living Color Vol. 2
    The Chronological Donald Vol. 1(1934-1941)
Tomorrowland: Disney In Space And Beyond
Walt Disney: On The Front Lines(The War Years)

That should be Mickey Mouse In Living Eastman Color.

    Grumble....

Thanks for the link! Even with the 5% surcharge for non-members, this is a good deal. And I wouldn't have wanted the damn tins anyway -- just more crap.

Ron, to be honest, I don't like the tins either...

But the collectionist in me hasn't been able to throw them away. :)

I hear ya! I can't bring myself to throw away those CD jackets that duplicate the exact same artwork underneath. Why do I keep them?

I must have missed something. Are these not considered good transfers?
