New single is streaming now. Really excited about this. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as though US fans can order from this site. Maybe there will be a separate US preorder.

Oops, I accidentally put "2020" in the title.

  2. I preordered the deluxe via bandcamp. Easy as can be.

-edit- as of right now, there is 1 deluxe left via bandcamp, out of 1000.

I found it via the US Temporary Residence. Site. The link I posted above doesn't work for US buyers.

  6. Not really feeling what I’ve heard so far, alas. “Dry Fantasy” sounds like a soundtrack to an ESPN documentary about cross country skiing, all icy, hi-gloss keyboards and rote epic feel.

Not listened to them on disc since the Government Commissions album, but caught them live a few times in the last couple of years and apart form an appearance at a daytime festival where they were on far too early in the day I have always enjoyed their live performances. I see the guitarist/frontman walking his dogs a lot around the neighborhood and he always looks like the dogs are giving him a hard time

Watched the live stream on Saturday which was a surprise gift. New album was impressive. There wasn't much singing but I definitely prefer no singing with my Mogwai. Not long to wait now until release day!

I asked this on the other Mogwai thread but does anyone know if there’s a US-based vendor selling the 2CD version? I’ve only been able to find UK stores selling it.

It's on order for me. I've liked them since the first album.

Received my copy this morning and listening right now - what an absolute gem of a record. I'll be pleasantly surprised if anything better than this is released this year.

I just downloaded the tracks from the deluxe box. Unfortunately, the physical box won't arrive until April now. Bummer. Still psyched to listen.

I received the CD box set with demos CD earlier today.

Just finished my first listen and very impressed. I'd consciously held off on listening to any of the singles more than once and I'm glad I did so everything sounds brand new today.

I'm looking forward to immersing myself in this album.

This is album is incredible. One of their best for sure. I had a deluxe box preordered but it arrived damaged to the shop so was refunded. Got the yellow vinyl instead. Are the 5 demos worth hearing??

No complaints on the yellow. Very crankable. Sounds great to me.

My yellow vinyl is, quite seriously, flawless. I'm not a reliable witness as an audiophile, as I don't always get what audiophiles are looking for, but it sounds perfect to me. Utterly silent in the quiet parts, dynamic where it's supposed to be. The songs are quite beautiful. I'm just in love with this record right now.

8 listens down and I’m loving the album.

It’s no departure from the recent Mogwai sound, but it sounds so fresh throughout with some really strong songs.

It sounds fine. Nothing to write home about but it is better than a lot of Mogwai LPs. The extra LP with demos sounds really really good. I am glad I went for the Deluxe set. Great set and superb album.

I wasn't sure what to think at the start of this album. I loved Every Country's Sun and wasn't feeling this new one. Now I am on the last song and I immediately want to play it again. They pulled me in. I will have to report back after a few more listens. Great band! Love the album cover.

As The Love Continues is currently sitting at #1 in the UK official album sales/streams mid-week chart.

If they can keep up the momentum for a few more days, they'll score their first ever #1 UK album.

Pretty amazing feat for an instrumental post-rock band who've been going for 25 years!
