‘ Turn My Way’ is a good one ! Fanboy Corgan sounds great breezing into the intro. Lots of people picking ‘All Day Long’ . I think any parent would find this song very moving.
‘When you can’t look after what you can’t own’ is a brilliant line.

Way too hard to make a definitive top ten for me, so I’ll just name 10 that I can think of right now (in no particular order)

1. Face Up - The hectic baseline combined with the synths at the end is the perfect way to close out my 2nd favorite NO album.
2. Here to Stay - An often overlooked gem and their last great single with Peter Hook.
3. Dreams Never End - There’s nothing I can say about this one that hasn’t already been said in this thread. Just listen to it…
4. Paradise - This song, along with All Day Long and Bizarre Love Triangle makes Brotherhood required listening.
5. Plastic - Its official. 10 years after their weakest album, New Order proved that they still have what it takes.
6. Age of Consent - This song yanked the band out of Joy Division’s shadow, while also being one of their best.
7. Waiting for the Sirens’ Call - Despite the album containing some of their worst efforts, the first 3-4 songs are exceptional, with this one being one of their best.
8. Bizarre Love Triangle - Maybe not their best song of all time but easily the most essential. A 10/10 track to say the least. (Album, 12”, and ‘94 versions)
9. 1963 - Relegated to a B-side prior to a sub-par remix single, this song would be my favorite if not for the entire Technique album. Beautiful and intense.
10. Technique - This may be cheating, but nothing else could occupy my top spot. From the electronic hi-hat intro to Fine Time, the lush guitars of All the Way and Love Less, the energy of Round and Round, the emotion of Guilty Partner and Run, the danceability of Mr Disco, the throbbing yet soothing Vanishing Point, to the absolutely masterful, perfect conclusion Dream Attack, this album isn’t just one of their best, it’s one of the best ever.
