yeah it's probably EU pressing only with the usual double LP price we got during the reissue campaign...

I have it pre-ordered on Amazon uk. It's on preorder there still for 25 GBP. Get em while they're hot!

I preordered from the UK as well but now amazon.ca is 44 bucks so its basically the same price.

Just got a message from Amazon.fr: they can't get the blue vinyl Division Bell so my order has been cancelled.

It varies by title. The reissues are all very good to excellent. I am a big fan of this reissue series.

I only have original UK copies of a few to compare, but in particular the UK Dark Side and Meddle are indeed materially better soundwise.

Of course cost and condition of originals help the argument for going with the reissues.

Just getting back into vinyl and would like to replace some of my original Pink Floyd albums that have seen better days. What would be the best LP versions for DSOTM, WYWH and Animals be? Thanks :)!

Start with the reissues - they are well priced and easily available. Yes originals have a tad more “warmth” but boy you will kiss a few frogs before you find your princess!

I am very happy with this reissue series. I have all the studio albums (except The Wall as I have an original in great condition) plus Relics and Dance Songs. I just can't pull the trigger on the live albums and am OK with having those on CD.

Convince me to buy the Pulse vinyl reissue, if you (or anyone) has got the inclination.

I have most of the Pink Floyd vinyl reissues (the ones from the albums that I like the most, anyway). I've never owned Pulse. I heard Delicate Sound of Thunder and mostly disliked the performances, which put me off Pulse back in the 1990s.

The original CDs can be had in fine shape for between $5 and $10.

Whet my appetite for spending $80+ on the LP set.

What you should do is pick it up on CD for $5 and see if you like it (that’s cheap) because my vinyl copy sounds better than the original Pulse CD that I have
