    Aura reference moving coil pre-amplifier.
The reference Aura MC stage is the culmination of decades of electronic design development. We have created the ultimate, fully adjustable, three stage, all symmetrical pre-amplifier designed purely to extract the very best performance from your moving coil cartridge and vinyl playback system.

Built into a completely re-designed custom case, the Aura is dedicated to moving coil cartridges and stays clear of any compromises. We have avoided including any superfluous functions as they obstruct the signal path and degrade the sound quality. The Aura phono pre-amp incorporates remarkable and innovative design ideas

It’s got a mono switch, nice! Will be interested to see how much this costs.

Says 4K in the title, but doesn't say what currency.

Looks like a really nice preamp, though the description doesn't mention anything to validate the claimed innovation, sounds like it could be design from the 70s except for the surface mount parts. Nice looking, though, Rega seems to be on a roll lately from a design aesthetic view.

At 5 times the price of the Aria, I would hope the Aura is way better. :agree:

Three years ago I have bought the RP 10 plus Apheta plus Aria. I thought it sounded good.
But four weeks ago I got the chance to hear the new Aura at home. It sounded so good and I bought the Aura immediately.:agree:
The only disadvantage: My Vitus Audio CD player is for 4 weeks in holiday.

Seems like you have a very nice system. Why don't you include the rest of it in your profile?

I don't know how to include.
So I take a look on your profile to see how it will look, I read the following:

At the upper right of this page click on your user name then click on personal details on the drop down menu and you can enter your information there. I think you should be able to read my profile, you can click on Morbius to the left of this post. Click on profile page then the information tab and you should be there. I looked at my settings and anyone should be able to view my info.

Nice system siebenkaes! I've read some good things about Vitus Audio, they're very hands on and use some very current tech in their designs.

Maybe when it is time to replace my cartridge in a few years I will be able to afford the Aphelion & Aura.

If they sound much better than my Alpheta 2 / Aria I might fall over.

    Anyone else hear the Aura?

I am in love with the sound of the Alpheta 2/Aria, but the Aura will likely be my next investment as funds allow.

Awesome! Definitely keep us posted. I am hoping to get one next year. Then eventually an Aphelion to go with it.
