These stands look very nice and go well with bigger box monitor speakers. The isolation plate system seems like a new paradigm. For your interest !

For those prices you could just get really kick-ass floor standers and no longer have the need for stands .

In a world where we each get to decide what’s north of the “insane” line, I’ll go on record as saying $56k for stands is well past that line for me.

So glad I saw this thread. I was about to spend about the same amount to have my house jacked so I can place isolation plates under the foundation. This seems like a much better solution!

Actually their products are really good. I have my amplifier on one of their isolation bases on a wooden floor and I’m very satisfied with it.

Seems there other isolation bases are much more reasonably priced, at least compared to these. I sometimes wonder if companies put out outrageously priced products like this to help folks mentally justify paying for their more reasonably priced products. Or maybe so spouses can justify the purchase to their significant others. "See honey. Look at how much money I saved us by going with the lower end model!" :D

I find in my case the isolation base is well worth the cost which isn’t that great. I look at it as a part of my amplification system as it provides a synergistic coupling between my amplifier and its surroundings.

If it weren’t for the solidity of my older Target equipment rack coupled with the custom base it’s standing on I would have purchased another one of the HRS isolation platforms to place under my preamplifier strictly for the performance factor and protection of the oh so important tubes. I still might consider doing so in the future. Nice stuff.

For that price I'll use the money as a down payment on a new house than I will make my own speaker stands.
