I was hoping for more from a lead-off album track, but it is nice to hear his voice again with new material. Very much looking forward to exploring this album from one of my favorite vocalists.

Shocked to see him singing again. I thought he retired long ago.

I like it. I was not expecting much after all this time but that is pretty solid.

I like it also. It's wonderful hearing Steve singing again.

It has elements of the classic song style Steve has sung in the past, but then there is a contemporary sheen in the harmonies and guitar sound and other production elements that add to the track IMO.

Neal Schon might notice there's no guitar solo, probably to avoid sounding like an old school Journey power ballad .:D

I think that little bridge brings the WHOLE thing together. The ending is nice too. Good tune and such a pleasure to hear Steve freakin' Perry singing again.

Great to see Steve back in the saddle! Sounds very good. But I believe Steve is rather a perfectionist when it comes to his output. I expected nothing less than as good as he could possibly sound at this stage of his career. Surprised at this album happening. Not surprised he sounds pretty damn good!

One of the only musical "Icons" i now cannot tolerate or support due to his treatment of past band mates, etc......not his vocal talent.

The tracklist has fewer total words than a Pearl Jam album!

Looking forward to this.......although just a teeny weeny bit concerned that it may go a bit "Rod Stewart" territory in places.

Thanks for the excellent sample. It is a pretty solid sounding track - less rocky than I would hope but I guess I expect that - it is the trend with Steve. I'm all in on this one. It will be great to have some more Steve Perry. Then perhaps an archive release? That track from Pacific Ocean Blue was very solid and peak-Journey like....

Not to mention one-sided and inaccurate per not only Perry but Schon and Cain.
