How is it? pressing/sound quality? I'm thinking about getting this.

 

I have the new...New Pornographers sitting here, that I want to get to, this weekend.

 

Newest releases are the recent vinyl reissues of the S/T Iron Maiden and Killers. Both classic albums that I've been looking for on (affordable) vinyl for a while.
Newest acquisition is "Oh, Mahyem!" by Bettie Serveert. Great album by a great band. They've still got it. If you like their music, you'll like this one.

 

Tweedy on vinyl. Haven't played it yet.

yes one is the bowie mix from 73 the other is the Iggy mix from 1997

 

I've been really meaning to check out more of her stuff. I only know her from the hidden track "Cinderella" at the end of Cracker's "Gentlemen's Blues" CD. I love her voice.

 

Groovy Uncle - Play Something We Know

 

Weird. I had no idea she'd been around that long. Just heard of her recently and dug the West Coast/Fleetwood Mac-y vibe. Granted, there seems to be a lot of artists trying to conjure up the magic of late-70's Mac (Haim, Caitlin Rose, the new Jenny Lewis) but hey, there's worse things to try to emulate than Rumours, right?
