My queue item from the 8th of this month hasn't shipped.

 

Usually when I order a cd it ships about 3-4 days after I order it.I ordered a cd about 8 days ago and it still hasn't shipped.

Theres another thread about "How many items are in your yourmusic.com queue". This is a perfect example why I keep lots of items in my queue. If something is about to go out of stock it gives you a chance to pick it up before it disappears.

Yup. There was a thread on this last week. A surprising number of folks are quitting as a result.

That's not the only reason...

Their reliabllity on delivering my monthly CD has went in the toilet.

They now owe me TWO CDs going back to October. Its now Dec 5.

Numerous emails to YM Customer Service have been unanswered, with no resolution in sight.

Top that off with a $1 per disc rate increase and... give me one good reason to continue with them.

I was planning to buy up some things I wanted but...I can no longer rely on them delivering my ordered items. Buyer beware.

Here's the way I look at it. Yes, I have problems w/ delays and "out-of-stock" items. However, where else can you get these discs at $5.99 or even $6.99 w/ free shipping? As long as they keep offering some SACDs (they regularly add new LSO Live discs), I'll stay a member. These discs cost much more from other vendors. I can see complaining about paying normal retail prices and having delays etc., but how can I complain about $6.99 per disc?

BTW, I didn't mean to belittle Stevef and others who are having extreme problems. If I was being charged every month and not getting anything, I'd quit too.

My experience has been: I get a disc every month even if it's 3 weeks after my shipping date, but at least I'm getting a disc for a giveaway price.
