Most rock samplers are all pretty good Gutbucket springs to mind. But, Nick's music sandwiched between other Island acts at the time just wasn't effective( at least for me).

Time to wind up my Westminster mantle Art Deco clock. The ticking and chimes has a calming effective takes me out of the 21stC and transposes me a half century earlier.

Yes, many great songs are left out. Would prefer properly made tab book including all the albums.

Don't use tab's myself play by ear. But chords /tunings would still be a help.
His first three albums should all have their own song book editions. You'd think there would be a demand.

Nick with Levin. Maybe someone with better eyesight can read the serial number on the headstock.Good way to date the instrument.

Five Leaves Left 50th Anniversary out in 7 months, assuming.

Why did it take a year to be released. Recording began July 1968, released July 1969?

The best thing about the mid seventies music magazines and the NME was NK articles.

I'd welcome this if it included an official release of some of the oddities from those sessions that are only available on bootlegs - that's if the masters still exist somewhere.

Anniversary seems a no brainer. What it would entail I could only guess.

And why did they leave such gems as "Joey" "Magic" and "Clothes of Sand" out?

I guess because the bar was set HIGH.

..and they definitely succeeded. But of course the recognition came way too late...

Again, 12 months recording. Was a special case of cheap rate fitting him in when it was affordable ?

Strange no dolly birds, guess that how the photo shoot went, random. Nobody's aware of him likes he's a ghost watching the city life in flow.
