I so wish they would upload the entire first show to YouTube! Having an original member of Pink Floyd out playing small dates and playing the more obscure music from the early years is the biggest Pink Floyd news to my ears in a long time. Anyone else excited about his project?

I think a live video would be great, but the first show? Surely they need time to work out the bugs in front of a few crowds before recording an official document

As a charter fan of the Pink Floyd*, it killed me I couldn't attend this! ... I'm hoping against hope for a DVD or something. But I have to say, having a film crew there might've spoilt the magic for the attendees, so I won't be too disappointed if they didn't. Bless Nick for doing this.

I know. I was using voice to text and that's how it spelled it. I did not catch it.

It's really amazing that Nick is doing this. I've seen some some clips of the performance and they do a really good job. There's something about seeing a group play these songs now that really shows off how different early Pink Floyd was - how aggressive and unhinged. One reviewer called them "Punk Floyd" and that is rather apt!

I hope they take this on the road. I think if Nick toured this band he might be able to coax David and/or Roger to come out and play at a gig or two. I'm sure that if they saw how much fun these guys are having, they wouldn't want to miss taking part.

The problem with touring this is venues.

Bigger venues and the magic is lost. But ticket demand over here (North America) would be astronomical...I’d guess...but maybe not...

I know this will sound crazy but I think if David or Roger showed up to a gig it would ruin the show. Everyone would expect Comfortably Numb or Have a Cigar and that stuff doesn't fit in with what Nick and his band are doing. I do hope he adds scream thy last scream to the setlist

I scored a platinum ticket for the September 3rd concert in Denmark. Meaning that I will be sitting front row and dead center :)
    It's gonna be amazing!!!

Btw I think you'e wrong that people would expect "The hits" if Roger or David guested a concert. It is made very clear what this show is about, and people who attend shoud be aware that Nick only plays very early Floyd stuff.
Imho it would be absolutely amazing should David or Roger (or both!!!) join in on one or more shows. Imagine 3/4 of the classic line up play the very early stuff for the first time in 50 years!! That's almost too good to be true, but actually it could happen!

I think that Gilmour appreciates early PF. His version of PF played "Astronomy Domine" on tour and he played "Remember a Day" on Jools Holland's show after Rick passed. But this is Nick's gig with his mates. DG and RW can stay in their respective homes and watch Netflix while Nick reminds us of the beauty and magic of early Pink Floyd. "Scream thy Last Scream" indeed...
