Thanks! Glad to see it broadcasting again. I get a lot of channels but being in Canada I don't think I get that one. I will have to go searching. I have an equivalent called MeTV but the shows are much older.

Episodes do get posted on Youtube from time to time but the quality is iffy.

I watched the trailer for this and looks pretty bad. None of the charm of the original at all.

    I have to agree.

    1. Seems they've basically tried to shoehorn Harry Anderson's character into this daughter concept. Same personality, different face.

    2. John Laroquette is (unfortunately) old and slow. His reactions were quick and over-the-top which is a comedic weapon that is impossible to have, anymore... not by Laroquette's fault, obviously. His reactions are far more timid and tepid.

    3. John Laroquette's face, which was a big part of the comedy of his character, is mostly hidden. Now, he's got thick glasses, a mustache, and beard hiding most of his facial expressions.

    4. Dan Fielding's sexcapades are another impossibility due to his age.

So we have 3 of the core comedic reasons why Dan Fielding's character was funny that aren't there anymore and another character who's spewing lines that are obviously written for Harry Stone's character but clearly not with the same comedic flair.

Next to all videos I've seen focus very much on the cast trying to sell this idea hard which I have never seen before. It tells me that there's not much confidence in the show on its face.

Can’t wait for the Charles in Charge reboot. Hollywood is outdoing themselves on the big and little screens. ‍

The preview didn't really look all that bad to me. I'm not really sure how people are able to judge the success or failure of a series based on a short preview clip online.

  18. Between this and the Fraiser series it’s like the 80’s and 90’s again.

I'll watch if they bring back Brent Spiner's character.

Maybe they could bring back Brent Spiner as Bob Wheeler.

I'll give it a chance, but I'm definitely skeptical about it. Then again, Quantum Leap wasn't half-bad.
