I preordered from popmarket on a day they had an amazing deal, but their site says it’s out on March 26th. I hope that’s not true! At least I got a good deal. $181 total with free shipping

I've been whining about this elsewhere, but it seems like "Black Flower" will YET AGAIN be a poor-sounding needle-drop. I'd love to be proven wrong, though, as that album should sound quite spectacular if mastered sensibly from the original tapes. The 2003 CD sounded terrible and the 2018 issue on Esoteric was a minor improvement, but still sourced from a pretty beat up copy of the original vinyl. Are the tapes lost for good or what's the problem?

Madfish states that the tapes are lost and they had to use a hi res digital copy for this release. I think it’ll sound pretty good, at least I hope.

None that I’ve seen, they must think that info isn’t important for some reason  maybe because it isn’t a huge band

Or because its nothing they are proud of. Like a standard cutting at wherever its pressed.

If you ordered from Burning Shed your order likely shipped out already, but us fans located in the USA who ordered from popmarket, collector’s choice, or deep discount, looks like our boxes won’t be shipping out until the 26th. Darn! :realmad:

One more week until this box finally comes out in the USA

  14. I would certainly accept a copy if someone were to give me one. But I’m not enough of an OG Nirvana fan to shell out serious cash for this.

everywhere you can order from in the USA have a release date of March 26th, so it looks like my copy at least isn’t shipping out until then. I’m hoping to have mine by April 2nd at least

Yes, its more so the cutting that Im not thrilled about. No dedicated mastering/cutting studio it seems.

Not sure if I should be, but I’m a little worried now. I’ve seen two people say their copies are riddled with scratches and scuffs and the like. All the packaging and stuff is pristine but the actual vinyl is in bad shape. And since it’s such a small pressing (only 1000) those people were told they could only get a refund, not a new copy. My copy is supposed to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday so now I’m on edge!

Every pressing has potential issues, its the reality of vinyl, no need to worry more now than yesterday.
