No Memorial Day Deals?

I was really looking forward to Target's Buy 2 get 1 free vinyl/CD sale this year, but it looks like they are not having one. I don't even see any discounts on the Acoustic Sounds and Elusive Disc websites.
Does anyone have an inside scoop on any upcoming vinyl sales?

 

I was a little surprised too by lck of sales anywhere. Maybe theyre gearing up for a fathers day sale

 

When do they typically have those? Aren't those usually on Memorial Day?

I wish the other companies were like Intervention Records! I've already bought everything I was looking for from them in past sales.

 

i would assume fathers day weekend in 3 weeks

 

If only what i wanted was in stock

 

I doubt there'll be any significant sales on vinyl with the current prices of food and gas.

 

I was just wondering about all the Memorial Day sales as well. I saw Blue Note is having 10% off, but have not seen anything else.

 

Newbury Comics is offering 20% off all vinyl in-stores only through Monday.

 

Bull Moose is doing a 33 1/3 blowout on about 400 titles at their Mill Creek location, which will be available on line Monday. The list of titles without the sales prices is posted at their website.

 

Forced Exposure is doing their usual 15% off in-stock items.

 

Maybe stores are catching on that Memorial Day is not a day of celebration, unless celebrating in remembrance.

 

Get back to me when the fireworks start going off, triggering PTSD all over neighborhoods because idiots just want to blow stuff up disrespectfully.
