No Official Mono Digital Format of Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"?

All the cds I see are unofficial and sourced from lps.

 

The 'Original Mono Recordings' CD box set is what you need.

Also, how does the mono cd from the Mono Recordings box set sound?

I sent Sony Legacy Recordings an email requesting they make this available outside of the box set. I mean it's been almost 10 years since it was released.

I'm a physical format guy.

 

I had a Stereo/Mono set that was super cheap years ago. I cannot for the life of me remember who released it.

 

I have one by Green Corner in a nice blue hard-back case. However, an official individual release would be nice.

Follow-up...

I got a reply back from them via Miles Davis official site (long story).

Anywho, they basically said that mono cds are a very niche market and that since cd sales were down over all it is unlikely we'll see a stand-alone release any time in the near future.
