Bond 25: opening November/ December 2020. Open air cinema ( normal cinema a no no)then straight to dvd. Wonder Woman 1984 has a September 2020 schedule, fat chance .. methinks.
Delays after delays. We will be lucky to see Bond 25 next summer( 2021). The films stands to lose billions in cinemas if there’s no full house.
As with much of the economy, there will be inevitable shrinkage. The least-performing venues will be gone and no flyby drive-in will cover the losses.
Its going to affect movie making for the next decade. No doubt Netflix has got a smile on their face.
Knowing what I know about the story and the direction the series is taking in NO TIME TO DIE I'd be fine if the film is never released, never shown, and destroyed from the memory chips on up so that no one can see it. Let it be obliterated.
There are now rumors that more reshoots may be in order, as certain plot elements have apparently tested poorly. It has yet to be confirmed but I wouldn't be surprised. Expect it to be pushed to 2021 at this point.
I've seen a couple people on sites like YouTube that follow this stuff and talk with people in the industry. They said nothing has been confirmed yet, just that these things are apparently being discussed. I take it all with a grain of salt, but with this particular production I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if more delays and tinkering come into play.
Perhaps Covid-19 has done James Bond a favor, then. What a terrible thing to say. Nobody wants a James Bond version of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. That disarmed and derailed the franchise, and the subsequent films have been unable to drag the series out of the muck.
They won't and now of course I don't think in CA they can open at all, closed again. Sucks for the theater owners, I can care less about the Hollywood mouths.
Re NO TIME TO DIE - an apt title ? there may be a slight delay.... ....while they re-shoot the entire film !
yes be glad to see the back of; Wade and 'wounded animal going it alone' / 'there's a traitor right under our noses' Purvis ! Phoebe Bridge can go back to wherever she came from ...and take her 'attitude' with her !
So it was gonna open up at the end of November... and now that may not happen. And if it gets delayed to 2021, they may not open it up until the fall. That will be 18 months later than originally expected. If ‘No Time to Die’ Must Push into 2021, Here’s Why a Summer Release Is Unlikely
Unless there is a cure, magic pill for this virus there going to be a new world order in the arts. More indie films being made( smaller budgets),films straight to download. Also, boutique packaging DVDs/Blu Rays available for older films.
