This film will premiere here in Brazil tomorrow, in both 2D and 3D. I think I'll stick to 2D this time.
Just seen it at the first midnight screening here in London. It’s enjoyable. 7/10. Although overlong. The last hour is spectacularly unmemorable. Malek isn’t a particularly interesting villain and the sound design and score are too loud. Zimmer has his fans (not me) and he’s no John Barry. Also, fair enough no time for misogyny and rape etc for the modern times but the new film is not remotely sexy. But I enjoyed more than all the other Craigs bar Casino Royale.
Late night Bond - 3am posting.. I think I will wait until the rush dies down to hopefully watch it in a partially empty cinema... some great films coming soon too - the two Andersons, and Dune..
That's sounds like me, LOL! I'm ashamed to admit this, but I actually fell asleep in the theater watching "Schindler's List", because of it's length. They put those home like comfortable chairs in the theater and it's beddy-by time for Gonzo. Regarding "No Time To Die", I'm already #2 on the wait list at my local library for the movie when it's released on Blu-Ray, so I'm good! I'll watch the first two hours one day and the final 45 minutes the next. I'm one of those wacky movie fans who hangs out through the end credits, especially since so many people "behind the scenes" made the movie enjoyable and they should be noted, even though I don't know any of them. My greatest fear with this new Bond film is that I'll fall asleep during the opening titles theme, as Billie Eillish (or whatever her name is?) bores me to tears!

Well...some arsehat troll on Twitter DM'd me and spoiled the plot of NTTD for me. I went to the Wikipedia article and after just the first paragraph it is clear the posted plot there is pretty much what I was told and from talking to a few others that have seen it, the spoilers are real. I'm not surprised of the major developments involving the ending as I already kinda suspected that was the direction the film makers would go given how this film is being billed as a definitive finale for this incarnation. Still it kinda sucks that I was spoiled as there were a few other things that would have been a surprise otherwise. Oh well. I'm still going to go see it next week when it opens here. It'll be my first outing to a theater since Covid so I'm just excited to see a film in the theater again. I've missed that so much. My warning to all is if you want to remain unspoiled, stay off the internet and social media until you see it. There are a lot of bitter keyboard warriors and trolls out there so angry this movie is supposidly "woke" ( newsflash: it really isn't) and want to ruin the experience for others. Also Wikipedia has the entire plot up there already so if you want to remain unspoiled, don't browse there.
Started off well. Begrudging 6/10. Worst DC Bond film. Though he was the best thing in the film, classy!!!!
Yeah, that could do it. After sitting through 20 minutes of previews, and opening action scene, and then that song will come on...if I've had a long day, I could go out right there!
There was an old Scottish guy about 80 leaving screening, he told me it’s the best James Bond film... I said what do you like about it... he said “ The characters are so real, humane “ Felt like saying / shouting .. Sean Connery.
I have a lot of targeted Facebook ads for this film and a lot of people are posting things like "HEAR THIS ONE IS "WOKE", GONNA SKIP IT" etc. Literally could not care any less about that type of BS, literally never seen a film ruined by supposed wokeness, people are extremely sensitive and easily triggered though and I'm not I guess. Anyway just give me some solid action and gadgets and beautiful locales I may never visit in real life.
I think Skyfall is pretty mediocre until Bond pulls the tarp off the Aston Martin and they head to the Scottish highlands, from then on it's super fun. The "defend the fort" sequence with Albert Finney is probably the highlight of Craig's run. "Try and stop me, you jumped-up little ****."
That character almost was played by Sean Connery, but he turned it down. It would have been cool to see him in the role, but Finney was good.
Most people are like you. It's only comparably handful of loud and obnoxious people who mostly make up reasons to be angry and generally aren't satisfied until everyone is as reactionary and miserable as they are.
That's kind of a drag to hear. When you have Leah Seydoux and Ana de Armas involved, how'd they manage that?
Loved it. It’s a glorious mashup of franchise tropes and what matters today. It’s like no other Bond film. It crams almost too much in. And they all act their socks off. It is massive.
