I wish I could have tested it at my house yesterday during the 6.5 earthquake! Good chance to separate the men from the boys!

Almost certainly, but whether there is several thousand dollars/pounds of 'difference' is debatable.

But don't get me wrong, these sort of decks are things of beauty and If I had money to burn..

Wow...Just wow! And that baby comes with what looks like a modified Pro-Ject Tonearm! Wouldn't it be very nice to be in the business to that degree and have all that nice gear???!! Must be nice!

I'd love to spin one of those with a cheap ceramic pickup and watch heads explode.

Not according to my testing. The LP1240 is a good enough table from what I know.

You sure it's a Pro-Ject arm? I kind of doubt it.

    Excellent!

That set-up was so good that I am sure that I heard the clicks and pops as the track was finishing at the end of the clip.

    Even through my desktop's monitors.

That's gotta be worth whatever it costs.

Words of wisdom (8:33) to live by: "And this sounds like a piano. It's not easy to get a piano that sounds like a piano." I know my piano sounds like a tuba, but I like it that way, mostly because, well, I can't get my piano to sound like a piano. It's just not easy.

    :)
