    "Objectively, what do you think . . . " is a self-contradicting phrase.

What I or anyone else thinks is completely subjective by definition.

Cinnamon is the objectively best spice. There is nothing absurdly reductive or subjective about this simple, life-affirming truth. After all the other spices have been sprinkled, grated, ground, and flung upon your tucker, cinnamon stands alone.

Harken to the wise and non-delusional words of Oasis from the most mentally healthy if not in fact greatest long-playing album of the greatest genre of music, rock:

    Maybe I just wanna fly
Wanna live, I don't wanna die
    Maybe I just wanna breathe
    Maybe I just don't believe
Maybe you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

I could try to come up with my favorite but would never attempt to fathom what's best.

Iconic cover art, amazing musical performances, great studio sound, popular among snobs and 'regular' folks, millions of copies sold. Dark Side of the Moon.

This is the first thing I thought of. A buddy of mine said they should give it out when you graduate high school and I can’t think of a reason why not.

    Indeed. Innovative at all levels.
    But “Perfect”???
I think the premise with that record was to be as imperfect as possible and to shake up everything one knew about rock, up till that point.

Yeah, personally I never understood the hype regarding the Beatles in general but I’m trying to be objective. It’s difficult to truly pin down what is actually “great” in music due to it being subjective.

I chose that album, as well as “Thriller” based simply on mass appeal since that’s usually how these things are often judged. Honestly, if there really was a “greatest” album somewhere in existence, most people probably would not have even heard of it.

    That’s just my opinion anyway.

This question is beyond absurd for a multitude of reasons, but the biggest being: how can you objectively measure an almost purely subjectively based medium?

Pepper's is my favourite album so far from what I've heard. Those who don't get the hype and feel the need to call it overrated... well, your loss

The thread got off the rails (Amy Winehouse, really?) The quarreling has started. How long before this thread gets closed down?

The answer is always going to be subjective. Either way I gotta go with Kind of Blue.

I objectively state that :-popcorn: is the most overused emoji of all time and that it doesn’t mean one is as cool or clever or funny as they might think. I apologize for using it but wish to point out it is for illustrative purposes only.

    It's trolling.

Everything he doesn't agree with is overrated....says no to others picks and then calls people gatekeepers.

Just ignore people like that. You can find a million just like him in YouTube comments.
