    That would be Birmingham AL, no? Dig the Echoes doing staggered up 'n' down moves to "On a Carousel", showmanship at its least sophisticated but they knew the hits you wanted to hear. Winner: Poonanny's Stormers; the group I most would like to have seen. Two skinny girls, get outta here if you don't know, Casanova's just bein' punished for goin' to Desolation Row.

    Thank god for 16mm.

    A fan has matched the rare silent video of the VU in Springfield in 1970 with long-existing boot audio. Mindblowing. Shame there's not any more footage (as yet). First synced up footage since Warhol's A Symphony of Sound.
