Peggy Lipton made a great album in the late 60s. This Laura Nyro tune was a single only release but is also really nice:
And the flip side was equally as good and it was written by Peggy herself. I used to stare at this 45 cover. A lot.
I bought this single in the mid sixties. It was never a huge hit but Frank Ifield was very popular over here. I've always liked it.
I always thought no doubt could have done a great reggae type cover of this song. My dad had the 45 single back in the 60s (along with some 4 member group from Liverpool that people might have heard of.....).
Pete Townshend claims he stole his "windmill" guitar strum stage move from Keith Richards, but I think Keith stole it from this guy.

Vince Guaraldi's Cast Your Fate To The Wind is a classic that's been recorded by many. This version only reached #61 in 1966 but it's a keeper!
