Roller is my favourite and the first Goblin album I ever heard. Once had 5 copies of this on vinyl and have, over the years, paired it down to one keeper. Fantastic stuff and highly recommended as a starting point!
im sure he just hasnt seen the thread yet. i still dont own any Goblin despite wanting a few albums for years now. should i start with Roller and Zombi? (and speaking of Italian prog, is there a PFM thread around here somewhere? we need one. *just did a search. there are a few.)
Yes, but they were all Attic LAT 1031's. Have not yet had the pleasure of listening to any other vinyl pressing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0M7dnuOUAQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IiglA-_uUg
That's what I have and despite an excellent Cut/Mastering it is quite noisy. The Original italian LP must be quite the rarity. I gave up finding an affordable one a long time ago. What an incredible album!
Susperia 1977 Cinevox 1. Suspiria 2. Witch 3. Opening To The Sighs 4. Sighs 5. Markos 6. Black Forest 7. Blind Concert 8. Suspiria is excellent stuff! I have the three disc set of this film and I believe the complete soundtrack is included.
Yes , that is so cool they did that , wish they'd have included the score with the deluxe Dawn Of The Dead/Zombi as well
Yes, that's a great set too. That reminds me, I still haven't watched the European cut yet. I believe that version has more Goblin music in it than the US edition.
The US version has some exclusive Goblin mixes that are so cool ! none have ever appeared on vinyl/cd as far as i know
track from Nicklas Barker (Anekdoten) new album. some goblin hints with lot of mellotron, theremin,... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVHEok92dQo&feature=channel_video_title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaBHmpQEqxo&feature=player_detailpage#t=135s
Morte Macabre. What I'd give for a follow up to their album from 1998. One of my favorites from the 90s by far.
Don't know how I missed this thread!! And here I have to leave in a minute and don't have a moment to address anything yet. But I will return.
