There is , the live vinyl is coming soon , or soonish , also it looks like Kings of the Robot Rhythm may finally be out legit
Got the LP set today. It's a thing of beauty. It's a shame they only pressed 300 of these. Mine is number 11. It's great to have this amazing concert officially released after all this years. I hope this is the first of many releases. It would be neat if they did a CD set of this, too. On a side note, I was very surprised to see that the man behind this set is none other than Vincent Presley, who hs played woth Those Poor Bastards and is also a member of Zebras. It's a small world we live on.
...anyone pick up the recent reissues of Snakefinger's albums on klanggalerie CD (Austria). Was thinking about getting them, but wanted some idea of how they sound....
Much better than the old ESD editions. I am not a fan of Master & Servant's mastering style. The Klanggaleries are still just a bit louder than I'd like, but they're not squashed. The audio is much closer to the original Ralph LPs.
Not really. 'Chewing' adds three tracks from singles and 'Greener' adds about half of the Melbourne live album. There's nothing previously unreleased.
Oh... But, I don't have the "Live In Melbourne" album.. I DID get the "Live At The Savoy" EP from iTunes.
I've been getting into Snakefinger recently after going on a Residents kick. Such a unique talent gone too soon. Enjoying Manual of Errors now.
So the new remasters are worth getting? Will obviously buy the ones I don't have, but as I have the Greener Postures CD from 1999 (I think), I'm wondering if the new one sounds better?
Hey Guys, I figured I'd give an update after reading about that guitar here. I was the one who posted that, 10 years ago. Dang. Time flies. Anyhow, a couple of years ago I finally sold that guitar. The current owner is Snakefinger's daughter. I was pretty happy that she ended up owning it. When I packed up the guitar to ship I also threw in a bunch of extra stuff. A large amount of fan recordings, live shows, unreleased studio stuff and interviews (sbds, aud and radio recordings), some promo and some original photo prints. She was beyond moved. It all worked out as good as it could have in my opinion.
