I'm kind of funny that way. I like to actually see what I'm buying that is so rare.

The disc is so rare, that it has actually never been seen. Hence, there is no picture available. ;)

Actually, the Toys in the Attic SACD is incredibly rare at my local Best Buy and Circuit City stores. They haven't gotten it yet. :(

Dave, I'm convinced that the Toys in the Attic SACD doesn't exist. Someone's pulling our leg. ;)

I saw a copy at Circuit City yesterday. It did not quality for the $9.99 sale price though.

I bought mine at Tower last week, so I can confirm that you'll never find it there again :)

For some bizarre reason, this title IS very difficult to find on the store shelves. I have never seen it in a Best Buy or Circuit City or even Media Play. I got mine at a "list price" mall store Frye's. It was $18.99. I bought it because it was hard to find and I figured "WTF"!

I'm going back to see if CC still has it. Now I have to own this "rarity" before it's gone!

Some should be available here, but even online, the disc is a rarity. Amazon says the stock will be replenished in December.

Odd. It's like they made 1,000 or somethin' and stopped, if only for a while (??) But it IS acting like it's OOP....

I checked every retail B&M store in the Dallas metroplex for several months before giving up on this SACD. Finally ordered one through Acoustic Sounds, it was worth it!!

I got it! :D $15.99 - not on sale but oh well. I sampled through some of it right away. "Sweet Emotion" is indeed, sweet. "Walk This Way" struts right on out in multi-channel.

Very nice so far. I'm listening to the rest of the album in multi-channel right now.

I will have to start looking online for this one. Has anyone compared the Toys SACD to tracks from it on the O, Yeah! compilation? I seem to recall someone (Mike T) saying on the music board that the Toys SACD is better. Is that the consensus?

I haven't listened to the compilation SACD in a little while, but "Sweet Emotion" sounds great on the Rolling Stone SACD sampler.

I haven't heard O, Yeah, but I've been told it was pretty poorly done. Toys is pretty good!

I have it - it's not poorly done. The one that was heavily criticized was "Just Push Play" - are you thinking of that one? I didn't buy it because of the reports on poor sound.

MK and Geoff, although I haven't listened to O, Yeah! in awhile, I have never had a problem with it. I just thought I had read that Toys was rated better soundwise. In any event, every review of the Just Push Play SACD I have read bashed it.

Maybe that was it. Or maybe I'm thinking about the regular CD...or just had a brain fart. These things happen.
