Manson tunes never thought they were catchy. Neither did the record company’s.

 

I noticed he didn't wait for their answer.

 

"Look At Your Game Girl" is a pretty catchy acoustic neo-folk tune. I could imagine 1968 Fred Neil, Dino Valenti or even Tom Paxton giving it a go (if they didn't know who wrote it!).

 

I am surprised to see that this is a real song.
I thought it was made for the movie also thought it was referencing the porn movie but that was in the 70's so it couldn't be that.

Reminds me of the strap-on metal roller-skates.

 

"Cease To Exist" is pretty darn creepy (and bluesy) in it's original form. Odd that Dennis chose that one to cover.
I do like the Beach Boys vocal arrangement (kinda neo-Rivingtons) and the flute-heavy production though.

 

First time I heard it was on Psychic TV’s Dreams Less Sweet album, released in 1983. This version is sung by a choral singer.

He has had his best opening weekend apparently than any other of his film’s in the UK box office.

 

Here in New Zealand it's headed to the art house after only a week in general release, which I find confusing.

 

Was the scene where Manson waved at Cliff cut, I think it was ?

 

I remember it being in there, but it could be my imagination playing tricks on me...

 

I love Psychic TV. If had to pick my desert island discs "Jack the Tab" would surely be among them.

 

He waves to Sharon Tate and says "Mam."

 

Yeah I remember that bit, it was a scene in the trailer where he waves to cliff when he is on the roof I think.

 

I'm still amazed when I go to someone's house and ice tumbles out of their refrigerator door.

I'm pretty sure the shot of Manson waving is only in the trailer.

 

Both can be true. The anonymously-written story predated the Mitchell Brothers film by several decades.
