There were people that thought Inglorious Basterds would be about Hitler. I think Manson is going to play about as big a role in this as Hitler played in that.

Seen a french original 1959 Hollywood Babylon the other day,Jane Mansfield on the cover.

 

Did the book come out that long ago? I guess so I remember reading a copy when I was about 12 years old and that was early 60s. I went to an art exhibit a retrospective of Kenneth Angers work down in LA and I got to shake his hand. He’s had one strange career. But there was an outdoor showing of Lucifer Rising , during which he played the theremin accompanied by a young guitarist making some gnarly sounds. I Shot video I’ll find it. It was pretty freaking cool. And what was weird was these black storm clouds gathered up over LA as he was playing and it hardly ever happens in LA. True story.
