Hopefully there is a lot of Pacific Ocean Blue and Caribou sessions material.

She's a bit of a ugly duck( though fit) but she's one of the cast in his Hollywood'69 film.

If you want to get a feel for what this film will be, see every hippie exploitation and Manson exploitation (mansonsploitation) film from the late 60s to the early 70s.

So true! And how many of these folks will be getting calls to appear in the movie? Steve Railsback's phone must be ringing off the hook!

Wonder if QT will consult with Kenneth Anger Hollywood Babylon.

I think Tarantino's most expensive film was Django Unchained, which cost $100M and made $400M (making it very profitable). I would doubt that this film will be more than $100M. I would guess that licensing "Helter Skelter" from Apple would run north of $2 million (all rights including home video, streaming, TV syndication, a soundtrack album, and so on), but there's always the chance the Fabs will nix it because it's associated with Manson. It's very possible he would just license the publishing from Sony/ATV and have another artist do a cover version... and even that will cost $300K, which is not cheap for one song.

Very well: about $180M for the first one and $150M for the second one, and I think both films together cost around $50M. I'm disappointed that Tarantino never did what he said he was going to do, which was to edit the two films together in chronological order and expanded scenes. I think the reality is that a) he's too busy, and b) his long-time editor Sally Menke's death kind of put an end to the Kill Bill expansion.

    Sequencing both films.
    It's doable though ?

  14. this sounds like it could be his greatest film outside of Pulp Fiction.

I thought he showed the extended Kill Bill at Cannes. I thought it was complete, just never commercially released, but I am not sure. Might have something to do with the Weinstein mess at this point, but with QT who knows? Maybe he's trying to build up a myth around it.

QT made 3 commercial youth oriented cool movies. Reservoir Dogs-Pulp Fiction & Kill Bill in my opinion.

Makes sense. Jackie Brown is my favorite QT film and I'm an old fart. It's easy to relate to Robert Forster..:magoo:

Lol. No joke gets past the Vidiot.

If he does get a cover, better be by Anton Newcombe.

    Still here....
I have no idea about still standing locations.
I'd like QT to focus on how Manson got cozy to Hollywood.
Did he sharpen up a bit with beads and tunics with fully brushed hair unlike the usual wild feral pics we have seen over the decades.
Hard to imagine Dennis Wilson or Neil Young sitting beside a dirty , fierce older hippie man for more than a few seconds.
Imagine a mellow and clean Charlie talking peace and love for basically the entirety of this film.

Don't think the main focal point/story initially is about CM. It's about a older fading TV actor trying to get more work in Hollywood in 1969.

I can't figure out what it is. There are all these "find a song name by humming" but my singing is so bad: "No Match Found." But that's also the result I get from most dating services, so... Next time its on the overhead, I'll grab some kid and figure out what it is.
