That must be one incredible script. Tarantino passed on Disney, went with Sony, as they gave QT complete control of the script, and S O N Y liked...done deal as they say.

 

Can't ( at least ) screw that one up.

 

Hope so. Last couple films of his I've seen he seems to be rapidly losing his edge soundtrack-wise.

 

Think the whole film will be a ala Pulp Fiction, ie; smorgasbord of period chart hits and deep cuts soundtrack wise.

 

Getting old, feel for that character.,sticks in my mind. Also, Karen Black.

 

How can you go wrong with the music of that period?

 

Sony gave the same budget as Django Unchained $100 million and QT gets the final cut. Paramount & Warner's were also interested ( before QT opting for Sony) Warner's even had period sixties stock cars to impress him outside 60s retro fitted boardroom. I do believe this is going to be a black comedy of sorts, otherwise where does CM fit into the equation. Polanski'a not commented yet.
