There are one hit wonders and there are some people who are... well, one album wonders. Artists whose legend is totally based on one album only.

I’ll start with (perhaps) the most obvious one:

    Jeff Buckley - Grace

How many “one album” wonders can you name?

But in all seriousness, and I'm cheating a bit since the mastermind behind this album has had a legendary career, but...

The Left Banke-they did have a 2nd album, but it is nowhere near as good as their amazing debut album.

    From Wikipedia:
Early in his career Johnson played in bands with Jack Holder and Greg
Reding, who later became members of Black Oak Arkansas.

This part of my vinyl collection and I can't remember why... oh yeah:

    "Kerri" - Robert Johnson.

I'll grant you the 19 year lay-off for Burma, but they did record another 4 excellent albums after the reunion.

Oh, no joke. It's a great and legitimate album!

My first pic (of The Beatles 1) was indeed a joke. :)
