One more thing on DVD-A

I was playing the DVD-A version of Night at the Opera to my roomate and his comment was that he thought DVD-A cuts off the high notes. I listened to the Black Album from Metallica and it also seemed to cut off the high notes compared to the CD version (on the same stereo). Has anyone else had this experience?
