This NYT story on the building used in "Only Murders" is a blast! What an amazing and fascinating place. Would've loved to live there on the cheap in the 70s, but hopefully with a working refrigerator. That landlady sounded like a real nasty piece of work. Ah, old New York.

Really looking forward to the new season! We might wait for them all to drop and then binge it. We get very little TV watching in during the summer months, which around here are basically 4 good months to be outside. Plenty of time to hole up with a TV the rest of the year.

enjoyed the first two episodes of the new season, could do without Amy Schumer's overacting/bad acting but loving Bunny's mum Mrs Folger

I'm liking the new season. It retains its wry/silly nature. I liked the frequent references to the podcast second season. I like most of the supporting cast. I like seeing Shirley MacLaine. “Because she’s a dream killer, son.” reminds me of my last ex-wife.

Second season -- so far so good for the first two episodes. The storyline with Mabel and Alice from the art gallery was a little weird, but I'm interested to see where they're going with it.

The three stars are just so great together in this show. I mean, we knew Steve and Marty were great together, but I was pleasantly surprised last season with how well Selena Gomez held her own with those two. They are a fantastic team on screen.

Rebooting "Brazzos" with a female lead sends the show into a whole new direction.

The first two shows of season two were good but last night was an absolute riot!

I'm happy to see the show nominated for so many Emmy Awards, though I'm disappointed Selena wasn't nominated in the Supporting Actress category.

As Steve says in this NY Times interview:

Steve Martin and Martin Short Are Thrilled to Be Competing, of Course

STEVE MARTIN Well, we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled at the nominations, not only for us but for the show. We’re dismayed that Selena was not nominated because she’s so crucial to our performances, really.

Nice to see a longer quote from Steve:

“Yeah, we’re very happy we got a lot of nominations. We’re a little dismayed that Selena [Gomez] didn’t get nominated because she’s so crucial to the trio, to the show. She kind of balances us. In fact, in some ways you can say that we got nominated because of her balance in the show. But we’re happy that she is nominated as executive producer on the show. She’s a big asset for us.”

This new season has been great, I was a little worried if it would warrant a second season but the gang is clicking.

It does appear that she's put on a few pounds in the off-season, but this is unnecessarily snicker-worthy...!

She’s also added a bit of weight to her acting skills. More relaxed and less awkward than Season 1.

Another banger episode last night, for me this season is definitely an improvement on the already great first season
