Only Murders In The Building- Steve Martin/ Martin Short series*

It was a great episode! It’s fun to see “Jan” (Amy Ryan) back! She and Steve are great together!

 

This week's episode was really quite powerful and Selena's acting was stellar! And honestly, while I am not always thrilled with Tina Fey, I see why her character made an appearance in this episode. While a little Jane Lynch goes a long way for me, her appearance was also warranted in this episode.

Does anyone know how many episodes are planned for this season?

It's a little annoying when a show has a first season with 10 episodes and then only has 8 in the following one (like HACKS).

I was told that Selena Gomez has some serious health issues, and that's partly to blame for the weight gain.

I agree, Selena is doing a much better job as an actor in the latest episodes.

For a guy who only gets a third of what people say, he pulled off the amazing trick of driving WHILE reading her lips.

 

Yes but it was interesting because you could see him really turning towards her to read her lips, yet turning back to watch the road. It seemed quite realistic!

I am curious: can a hearing impaired person drive in real life? It seems like you wouldn’t hear car horns, railroad crossings sounds, etc which could prove dangerous.

 

I’m down with COVID so I binged the first season over the last couple of days. Martin Short always makes me happy. I feel like he’s the GOAT of comedy with just a tinge of seething rage underneath everything. Looking forward to the second season!

Enjoyed Selena's brief singing of "The Sounds of Silence" in today's episode.

Also, she had the funniest lines in the stairwell: "Hello? Killer at large? Child in peril?" and then "Hips before dips Oliver!" I really did LOL

 

Did they ever explain what happened to the character Oscar? He just disappeared from the series..

Late to the party but glad I made it, I'm 6 episodes in of season 1.
I finally started watching yesterday and I love it.

Tuesday is season 2 finale, the theme gets in my head and I found this extended version.

I love the theme song, and for a while I thought it sounded very familiar to me. Finally, I figured out that it reminds me of the theme song from "House of Cards."

Thoroughly enjoyed the final episode. A good finish to a great second season. Looking forward to season 3.

 

That was a great season finale! Loved Mabel’s look in the last scene — plus of course her last line!!

The slow motion bit was hilarious.

 

I guess I won't be looking in here until tomorrow, haven't seen it yet.
