Kym, you're on fire!! Brilliant!!!! I don't think it needs track numbers- it looks good like that!!!!

Anything that was made in West Germany (through '87) is fair game.

(Not to nitpick, but can you do a touch-up on the "Double Fantasy"? Not only was it black and white- but it's missing the LenOno Music logo.:)... )

James, I'm not sure what you mean by black and white with respect to the Double Fantasy target. Geffen targets have a black target and silver coating with copyright and manufacturing info. around the perimeter in white.

Geez, tough crowd, tough crowd! ;)

Make your own damn targets, then!

Actually, I need to compensate for my darker monitor in regards to the colors. I will edit the Double Fantasy target accordingly by darkening the grey inside and putting the Lenono logo on.

So, GIVE ME A BREAK, JAMES!

    Keith,

Sorry to confuse you- the "Double Fantasy" looks like black and white tv, with no color, so the silver doesn't come through.

Kym, the Marley is beautiful. I just want full accuracy :) The Lennon was good for a 1st one; you're hitting your stride now!!

Did I mention I liked your bears hugging too? :o

O thank you, my Lord. :sigh:

Apparently all it takes to placate my master is to include all the secondary logos. If only all religion was so easy. :sigh:

No, but thank you, my Lordship. :D

Just wanted to let all of those who offered suggestions for future fake targets know that I do take your requests seriously and will post them when I am able. THANKS for all your kind words (yours too, James ;)). I hope this thread has been enjoyable for your eyes - it's certainly a labor of (free) love for me! ;)

I shall now return to my eternal search for a LIFE. Keith, are you gonna go my way?

    James,

I get you now. I tend to keep the monitor contrast dark, so the Double Fantasy target looked right to me.

    Kym,

That Marley faux target is very cool. Nice job!

As for me getting a life, I think it's too late. I definitely need to get out more. Hmmm...I think I'll go to a used record store. :sigh: :)

Kym, you da man! Those are cool! I'm sure Bradley will appreciate that you came up with a new color scheme for Gordon Lightfoot. :)

Ed Bishop Incredibly, I'm still here

K Y M, you have outdone yourself with this first batch! Awesome is too mild a word to describe it. When you do it so well you make the rest of us target fans with these existed, well, you've gone beyond the call of duty!

When you have time, a Fleetwood Mac TUSK wold be nifty(with the full timing for "Sara," natch!):D U2's THE JOSHUA TREE....

And--this is real wishful thing--GH's CLOUD NINE! Wherever it shows up next time, probably not through WEA, though you never know.

    Again, remarkable work!

Good job Kym on the Gordon Lightfoot. BTW, the color scheme you created is perfect and and the graphics matches the LP graphics perfectly. BTW, Sundown is a classic album.

    Kym, more great work!

How about targets of The Doors Other Voices and Full Circle? Targets of 13, Weird Scenes Inside the Goldmine, and the original Absolutely Live would be very cool too. :)

Kym --- I'm just blown away!!! Thank you for posting these, you've really outdone yourself. Great usage of both existing known color patterns and well uh, the "what should have been" color patterns.

The beauty of these is that they are one of a kind -- to be find nowhere else.

You know, if Warner Bros. wised up, they'd get back into the target pattern and start releasing "20th Anniversary" versions of the discs. I think even I would succumb to that sales pitch.

Chris, I like the idea of anniversary targets! Why not?! Warner, are you listening?

Of course, WEA would have to do flat transfers for such anniversary targets. That would be the only to do it. :)

And presenting the what-might-have-been Paisley Park scheme! Of course, you gotta have purple in there somewhere! ;)

Nice work on the "Double Fantasy" Kym! The Benjamin Orr target is extra super nice!! They look so real!! I wonder if there's gonna be some collector's who think these are real (if they didn't catch the whole thread...)?!?
