Concorde II do not have HiFi upgrade paths. They DO NOT accept OM stylus options. You have to get the Reloop, Tonar Banana, or other OM based Concordes which do.
That's interesting. Is this a new development with the II? The Concorde Pro accepted the OM styli, didn't it. Would this be the reason Kabusa have swapped to Reloop for the bodies of their Hi-Fi Concordes?
Just wanted to update and thank all from this thread especially Crab33, Oelewapper, and Stonegarden71 but all others that contributed as well as those in the The Technics SL-1200 GAE/G/GR general questions thread. I finally pulled the trigger on a 1210GR and decieded upon going with the THAKKER Ortofon Concorde R30! I'm very excited! Deck should be here tomorrow but may need to wait another week or two for the Concorde R30 to make its way across the pond. The expertise, advice and willingness to help are among the many reasons I love this forum! Cheers to you all !
