Oscar Peterson Night Train LP - Mono vs Stereo

Just picked up an original mono lp for pretty cheap at my local store. I know this album is not really known for spectacular sound, but my copy sounds quite nice. Piano is a little dated (similar to the RVG muffled piano Blue Note vibe), there’s the phasing issue with the ride cymbal, but all-in-all an enjoyable listen and musically a super fun balance of laid back, bluesy jazz and piano virtuosity.

I’m wondering - what is the definitive version of this classic? Is it the mono or the stereo (which I believe is rechanneled stereo)? Anyone own both? Thoughts?
