    There's a pic on the cover of one of the most recent copies of the Japanese Playboy of The Beatles looking into a mirror ball - looks like '65-67 - somewhere in there.

    Anyone know if this is a doctored photo? Or a real one that I've never seen anywhere else? Anyone know where the print is for this or where it comes from?

    I am Beatles pictures obsessed--I have about 8,000 saved to my hard drive alone. I am scanning relatively rare photos and doing screen captures for my blog, if anyone wants to view them. I have a large collection of Beatles Monthly Books, so I'm doing a lot of scanning of those great photos in particular.

    As for Beatles holding records, here is an excellent one. There is also a wonderful photo of George and John holding the Twist and Shout EP (I haven't scanned it yet), and this one of John playing the EP on small record player. The last one is a rare shot from the Abbey Road sessions.

    I'll post more later!
