"Outer-Groove Distortion"

    Very good, and I assume its for both points and the cart is also squared in the headshell, meaning its not skewed to the side? Then you should have a good alignment if you listen to a lot of varied music.

    My initialt issue, and i should have included this.
    Using the tube - amp, the left channel was abit muddied, and not entierly clear. Whilst the right channel was clearer and brighter - vocally speaking.

    Because, when i recorded the music to my pc, the soundstage opened up and became more balanced.

    Yep. And offset-angle according to the feickert protractor.

    Also, what could cause the amp to be in-balanced / less clear in the left channel, and brighter / sharper in the right one?

    And the other fun part. I used to have an Ortofon Bronze stylus , paired with a Silver cart. Once i started noticing the sharper right channel, especially the sharp S, i thought it had issues tracking / reproducing.

    Then i replaced it with the Quintet, not thinking about it for a while. Then, noticing it again, i double and triple checked alignment, to no avail. The issue was there..
    Just to now figurer out it was the damn amplifier.
