If you are a buyer, what do you use for an overseas transaction to protect yourself. Does PayPal work overseas like in the US (where it can recover your funds automatically if there a problem or no goods are actually sent)? Or is there a better way. Thanks.

PP, if paying via goods and services method and not friends and family, will have the same buyer protection regardless of where you buy from as long as it's a country they cover and if they offer goods and services payment in that country they do.

Just keep in mind that if the product needs to be returned, you are on the hook for the return postage costs.

Thanks. I plan to have it shipped via DHL overnight and pay through PP goods and services. Costly. But worth the peace of mind.

PayPal charges unfavorable fees if there's a currency conversion. But it will protect you if there's a problem.
