Julia Garner (Ruth) really makes this show for me. She's amazing.

Just finished watching the first 3 seasons in a 10 day period. Not sure why I was so late to the party? I think It's a fantastic series. One of my favourites. Can see the connection to Breaking Bad. I think one of the biggest pull is the number of characters. There's a lot of them. Not minor roles either. I think that Ruth must be one of the best characters ever created. Cant wait for the final season.

I'm actually not going to read through this thread because of spoilers. I started this series a couple of weeks ago and an halfway through season 2. It's amazing. Ruth's character includes some of the best acting I've seen in a series.

This is the rare show that gets BETTER with each successive season.

I have a concern with the significant time gap between the last season and the next upcoming season only the hardcore audience will return. A lot of people that previously watched it may not even know that there is another season. This will definitely hurt the show.

The promote the hell out of it when there’s a new season so I doubt that’s a big issue.

Plus, it’s the last season anyway, so I imagine the series fans will catch it for closure and even if it doesn’t do well, it’s not like it’s jeopardizing the renewal of the next season.

Not that I care about awards but Ruth really should have won a Golden Globe for her portrayal.

Laura Linney...still pretty with brains on her face. We learned that we're getting the 2 part final season routine. And we saw that our duplicitous duo can still manage some tenderness for each other. I really wish them the all the luck.

S3 was the best of the seasons thus far. 45 seconds into the first episode and my girlfriend and I are crying out at what we're seeing onscreen. This show pulls no punches. It's the emotional equivalent of the luge. Can't wait to see how this all wraps up.

I think I am going to watch the prior season to refresh my memory although I remember a lot of it. Guess I better get started.

Good idea, it has been a while hasn't it? I will do the same if time allows. I was kind of disappointed they are doing a 2 part season. But as busy as I am, I guess that is ok. What do we have, 10 episodes? So I can binge 5 in Jan and binge the final 5 later on. But I will also need to go back and watch last season. Really the only thing I remember is the final seconds of the season finale!

    14 episodes. 2 sets of 7.

The "split season," along with the new/old trend of dropping episodes weekly are annoying. Drop 'em all. Let me binge at will. I suppose they're trying to avoid spoilers and gin up anticipation, but still.
